Guidelines for Use

Lower Columbia College values open communication and freedom of expression, and welcomes interaction with social media users. Lower Columbia College also values civil discourse and respect for all members of our diverse community. As such, all social media is subject to the Terms of Use and Code of Conduct published by the social media channel. Additionally, we reserve the right, but assume no obligation, to remove comments that we deem inappropriate, including but not limited to:

  • Racist, sexist, or otherwise discriminatory remarks
  • Personal attacks
  • Profanity
  • Encouragement or celebration of illegal or violent behavior
  • Obscenity
  • Spam
  • Advertising or promotion of services, products, or events not associated with Lower Columbia College
  • Things that are factually untrue
