Top Reasons to Apply for Financial Aid

  • The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required for many scholarship applications, whether or not you qualify for need-based aid.
  • FAFSA is required to qualify for certain types of jobs on campus.
  • Even if you don't qualify for grants, you may still be eligible for loans or other aid.
  • No income cut-off for certain types of aid, such as loans and some scholarships. How much money your family makes is only one factor in determining your eligibility.
  • The Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WAFSA) is for students who are ineligible to apply using the FAFSA due to immigration status.

Financial Aid Awards

Over $13.5M in student financial aid dollars was disbursed to students during the 2015 - 2016 school year. For many students, financial aid is the only way they can attend college.

Our financial aid staff members work hard to help students obtain all the aid for which they are qualified, while complying with U.S. Department of Education rules and requirements. We understand the process of applying for and receiving financial aid can be complex and challenging. Your patience and assistance is appreciated.
