   Important Information for Graduates

When is Commencement?

Friday, June 19 at 6:30 pm

What is a Virtual Commencement?

An online celebration of graduates, including short congratulatory remarks, music and an individual slide of each graduate with a photo and highlights of their academic accomplishments.

How do I participate?

Graduates will receive an invitation to upload a photo and add information to their custom slide. Graduates will also receive an electronic invitation to share with their family and friends to view commencement online.

Can I still order a cap and gown?

You will receive a graduate packet at your home around June 16, which will include your commencement cap, tassel, commencement program, and a graduation gift. If you do not have a reliable mailing address, please complete this form to help us set a pick-up time for your grad packet.

Graduates who have earned an Associate Degree with a GPA of 3.5 or above will receive an honor cord. Members of the Phi Theta Kappa honors society will receive a stole.

What if I cannot watch the event on June 19?

The 2020 Commencement video will be posted online after the event for graduates and their families to view again or at a later date.

Can I participate in the 2021 Commencement Ceremony?

Yes, graduates can also choose to attend the 2021 Ceremony next year.
